Oxford University Women’s Lightweight Rowing Club (OUWLRC) seeks to appoint a Head Coach. She/he will take overall leadership of the club’s rowing programme, including designing and implementing training and racing plans, coaching on the water and on land, managing other support services, and administration. We seek a candidate with high technical coaching ability, knowledge and experience of modern coaching methods and physiology (including lightweight rowing), commitment to athlete development, and a sensitivity to the academic setting. About OUWLRC: Founded in 1984, the club prepares an eight and reserve crew to race Cambridge in the Lightweight Women’s Boat Race, and regularly fields crews to race at WEHORR, British Universities Championships, European Universities Championships, and national team trials (sweep and sculling).
