On Sunday 12th November the OUWLRC ventured out to join the lycra clad masses at the Birmingham NIA, for what is rather amusingly called the British ‘indoor rowing’ championships. I say amusingly because the November issue of ‘rowing’ magazine suggests that ‘indoor rowing’ is for people too soft to get cold. But given a choice 20 km outing and that peculiar form of masochism that is a 2k test, I know which one I’d choose….
